In Killeen, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Texas, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

Killeen is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Killeen is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Worst dental experience ever!!! No wonder I was able to make a same day appointment within two hours of calling, because he has horrible bedside manner and he is unprofessional! He’s rude and as a first time patient he told me he didn’t want to hear me complaining about getting my teeth cleaned since it had been a while. After going back and forth about the sole purpose of the visit he leaves the room and comes back in 30 mins later saying I couldn’t get my teeth cleaned because I had two cavities that have reached the nerve and the suction and cold water would hurt my teeth. I told him I didn’t have issues with hot or cold water and he told me that I’d have to come back after I delivered my baby to get my teeth cleaned. This was during lunch time and he backpedaled after telling me to come back after having my baby and said I’d have to come back after lunch. I was there for an hour only to receive X-rays and I was the ONLY PATIENT in the building! First and last time EVER going to this place!

I stopped going to this dentist last year. All he wants is money. He told me my wisdom teeth were coming in and charged me an outrageous price to get only the bottom 2 pulled. On another visit I was getting my teeth cleaned. He called the assistant stupid and told her she was dumb as he was cleaning my teeth. The hurt in her eyes pissed me off. She called me 6 months later for another cleaning and thats when I told her I would no longer be coming to them.

I give no stars, he talked to me as if I am stupid and I have more schooling then he does. He wanted me to get my tooth pulled and there was no need for that. I went to a different Dentist for a second opinion and that dentist said there is no need and I will be just fine. Was of money and he wants to do invasive surgery for nothing. DON'T GO THERE, BETTER OFF ELSE WERE!!!!
